On my cycle to work this morning I saw a grey squirrel scamper across the road in front of me and leap over the grass verge heading into the trees that lined the road, but as he leapt he looked at me, hit one of the wires in the sheep fencing and landed on his head. Just proves we all have our off days.0

Was it wearing a helmet?0 -
One of the most comic things I've ever seen in real life:
Out on a lunchtime run from work. Running fast downhill through woods, I came round a corner to see two red squirrels on the path in front of me. I was going fast and clearly surprised them a lot: they both did that random leg movement thing for half a second or so, then shot off - directly towards each other, so they bounced off each other spectacularly, and I was almost running over them before they ran off in opposite directions.
You had to be there, obvs, but I still laugh at the memory of those little feet drumming followed by the collision.0 -

290km at 40kph??
Were you in the main bunch for this year's Milan-San Remo or something?
http://www.bikeraceinfo.com/classics/Mi ... -remo.html294 kilometers raced at an average speed of 40.208 km/hr
1 NIBALI Vincenzo Bahrain-Merida 7hr 18min 43sec
2 EWAN Caleb Mitchelton-Scott s.t.
I mean, with that average power, you could have won the stage to Ventoux a couple years ago.

No - just out for a ride.
It's just riding a bike - it's not that difficult. Well, for some it is but I tend to find it quite easy.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Out on a morning ride just now with my brother in law in the Surrey hills we spotted Captain Bianchi!!
Riding a celeste Bianchi road bike with celeste bar tape, wearing a celeste jersey with celeste arm warmers, shorts with a celeste stripe down the side, celeste gloves and celeste shoe covers.
Completely over the top of course but it made us chuckle for the rest of the ride.0 -
Watching the Tour de Yorkshire. What magnificent countryside and roads for cycling. It's great to see the Yorkshire people giving such wonderful support to the event also. Brilliant!0

MF realises that maybe sausage rolls aren't the most efficient of training foods so he decided to supplement them with Melton Mowbray pork pies.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am
