New place didn't have wheelie bins for recycling, general waste etc, previous owner just used bags. Put in an online request yesterday afternoon; 0930 this morning bloke in a van rolls up with the bins. Wasn't expecting that service level.

It's 'cos their failed waste policy has meant huge reductions in funding form the Scottish executive and they are struggling to reach recycling and diversion from landfill targets.
I can fill you in on every last sordid detail.

    Glad you’re happy about that.

It’s a bit disappointing in the first glasto in 3 years the best they can find for the top slot is a geriatric, who’s best songs were written 50-60 years ago

40mm of rain on the French garden today, after extended 'canicule (up to 40C). My Easter-planted plants might just make it, if they haven't been pulverised by hail. I should be there in a month. That also cheers me up.

Fixed (I'll take Yesterday as the exception).

Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and McCartney seem like they cover a good spread of demographics.

Fwiw, McCartney wrote all his best stuff before I was born.

I don't believe you were born after November 1984.

That's a decent song, but I think I prefer the early non-frog stuff.

Not the right thread, but whatever.

It's a bit depressing if creativity in music is anything to go by, you are shot before your thirties max.

Leonard Cohen released Hallelujah when he was 50.

Leonard Cohen released Hallelujah when he was 50.

80 odd verses originally so he probably started writing it in his teens.

I like 'were on our way now'.

Apart from the Oasis tracks the women playing the scissors was the highlight.

Aka... what a life was the highlight.

The Liam songs just made me a bit sad to hear them done badly. Like an easy listening Oasis tribute band.
