6 kgs - are you aure it is a cat?morstar said:Love it.
We had a pair of feral farm kittens about 16 years ago from behind a stable partition.
Male lived 6-7 years but died with cancer.
Female was batty and absurdly playful by any cat standards.
Randomly gave birth to one kitten 11 years ago.
We still have the kitten (who only made it through birth thanks to panicked, google aided home veterinary work).
The kitten was (still is) tiny and absolutely nuts. Inherited her mothers playfulness coupled with a nasty streak. Bosses all the dogs and the other cat around.
Other cat is almost twice the size. 6Kg vs 3.6.0 -
He’s a big mofo for sure. Build, not fat.surrey_commuter said:

Came with a brother who was equally large but had zero road sense. His demise was sadly predictable.0 -
Since this is now the pussay thread here is a cat I saw on holiday that was easily 6kgs.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

We used to be very good at compartmentalising thread subjects - anyone remember the very narrowly focused 'Girls in Lycra Shorts' thread? Incredibly popular, but killed off by the killjoys.masjer said:How about a hybrid thread -cats in gardens. One is a brainbox, the other not so much. I think you'll be able to tell.

Our were rescue cats. Smarty and his brother Poppy and sister Daisy all feral cats from the cat rescue. Needed to handled with gauntlets we first got them. Daisy got killed after about 3 months on the road outside, Poppy got cancer and had to be put down just before Christmas.
Kitty was found in the engine of a neighbour’s car, she thought she’d driven home from work with her in there. She then escaped to get in to engine of our car and then into another car before she was eventually caught by another neighbour.
Clearly hadn’t been weaned and still suckles things now aged 10.0 -
This fella is Monty. 7.2kg last weigh in. Not fat at all and definitely a bruiser. Does love a pillow though.
His sister Dotty is just a bit special. She was the runt so of course the kids were drawn to her. Doesn't really fit in her skin though

True.
I did once carry a boxed set of fairly large stereo speakers back to my halls of residence on the bike: no idea how I did it to this day, when I think about it. Started off just pushing the bike with the big box resting on the top tube, but seemed so slow, so somehow managed to ride the thing, with my knees pointing outwards around the box, I think. I must have been a lot bendier then. And even more stupid.0 -
Oh, I did bring a fully-grown scythe back on the bike, but took the blade off the handle and put it in my rucksack, and had the handle as per above. Was rather keen not to fall off backwards on the ride home.0

Schadenfreude. Especially for golfers. Especially when they claim Augusta is a "67" for them. Brooks Koepka I'm looking at you. Shot 75 for both rounds.0

Boris Becker not being available to commentate on Wimbledon.0

BB and Mackinrow make the game seem slightly interesting [sic].
***WRONG THREAD ALERT BY***
Incidentally, I was at Chelmsford (Essex vs Australia) and it was announced that Becker had won Wimbledon (aged 17).
It rose a cheer before the inebriated crowd resumed taunting the fast bowler Jeff Thompson, shouting 'no ball' every time he got to the crease.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Listening to the radio in the car and hearing my daughter being interviewed on local radio (she sounded very professional and far better spoken than her dad too!).2

The place I'm staying has one of those fresh milk vending machines on a farm just down the road. My morning cereal was the best I've ever had.0

Getting the dreaded utilities reminder that my fixed rate ends in June.
Then seeing some surprisingly attractive rates on offer.
‘Only’ a 25% increase on what was a good deal last year and coming in nearly 40% under the cap. I’ll take that thank you. £80 exit fee which I’ll take on the chin if rates plummet.0 -
Which supplier? Given that the cap is expected to rise again in October, I'm surprised anyone is offering any deal under the cap. They will lose money.morstar said:Getting the dreaded utilities reminder that my fixed rate ends in June.

I was genuinely surprised. Especially having just seen the poor deals my mum had been offered a week or so ago.kingstongraham said:

I am with British Gas Evolve. It was BG’s no frills offering to compete with the smaller operators with lower cost bases.
I wonder how they’re all doing?
Interestingly, when they did all start going under, British Gas did announce it will all just come under the British Gas name but the evolve bit does still appear on some docs.0 -
There is a farm locally that does the milk vending and set up only recently.Pross said:The place I'm staying has one of those fresh milk vending machines on a farm just down the road. My morning cereal was the best I've ever had.
You have to buy the bottle but after that initial cost, it works out at .£1.50 a litre.
Given that it's not Jersey gold top and my families consumption of milk is silly, it's not cheap.
Muller milk is £1.55 for 2 litres.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Driving on the M40 this weekend and finding a kindred spirit in the form of another driver who also pulls over to the left lane whenever it was available.
A bit of well synchronised lane discipline for a good few miles.1
