@ Pross & mrfpb - it wasn't far enough so I rubbed it in by doing another lap of our route after she got home :)

Definitely some channelling of Keith Flint going on there!

I was thinking more of a school play based on Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

Sporting weekend - first sailing race with my niece (her first race) - despite there being no wind we had a good time. Meanwhile, Little Slowbike went off for a bike ride with his mother & cousin - ended up riding most of it solo (rather than on the tag-along).
Followed by Little Slowbikes first sailing race- we had a bit more wind, but there he was, laughing and suggesting one of our competitors falls overboard ... smiles and laughter all round.

That's not trivial! Wife's Focus is 17 years old now and a passed MOT is a thing of unbridled joy, advisories or not!

(Thought it was curtains this year. First I discovered the garage we'd been using for 30 years had decided to call it a day, and then I found I could poke my finger straight through the sill the week before the test. Luckily we've found what appears to be another decent garage, and the corrosion was very localised and they've done a very tidy welded repair. Suspect it's on borrowed time now though...)

I may be so, but in this case it was more 'thank **** I'm not old yet' :)

Not sure why he's paying security, they seem a bit s**t. Presumably it's an ego thing.

Thinking about it maybe the security people hate him as much as any sane person so are happy to take his money but can't be arsed actually protecting him.

Which for some reason reminds me that I said I would post these.

Edit: but apparently I already have.

I'm sure he's not paying, is it still his mate Arron Banks paying? Or his sugar daddy as described by someone on that Twitter link.

i don't think he's paying them much - worst CP team I've ever seen. probably just a couple of his mates from the pub.
