I'm sure I've mentioned this before on this thread, but it kept happening yesterday so I'm freshly irritated by it: People who go in or out of a shop then stop immediately on the other side of the door so no-one else can get in or out.0

The Eurostar livery. You go to all that effort to complete one of the most impressive engineering feats in the history of the world and then you paint the trains grey.
To be fair, it's white, yellow and grey.
If you were to paint a Eurostar train red white and blue, or yellow and blue, or black red and yellow...seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Coffee machines in hotel restaurants!!
I'm staying in a Novotel and until recently you had a large pot of coffee or tea served on your table which was a nice and civilised way of doing things. Now you have to go to a machine which will grind you out a, in my opinion, inferior coffee cup of coffee usually with the dregs of the last persons hot chocolate!!! How this be considered progress0 -

With you there, and it can take ages for the crap result.

Sugar in little packets rather than in a sugar bowl.
Butter in little packs instead of a dish.
Okay in a Mac d's but not in a nice hotel.

Photoshop, or rather the over use of it. You see a nice picture and then wonder if it's been photoshopped beyond recognition.0

Did a particular photo bring this on? Such as the young lady in the bathroom in "Big Girls Thread"?
Because I was just thinking the same,
and whilst we're on the subject of photos, why do some photographers feel that the image looks better when it's taken on a slant?

Waiting patiently in the queue behind 4 dizzy 20 something girls at passport control, only for it to come as a total shock to them that someone may actually need to see their passports. Cue searching through bags and holding everyone up.
Oh and Manchester ground crew managing to send my luggage to the wrong carousel. :twisted:0 -

That's the same for the queue at the supermarket. You stand there waiting for ages. Woman in front has put all her shopping on the conveyor. Packs her shopping and then the crucible: get into her handbag, get purse out, have a look at how much cash she has, decide that she needs her card, try to find card in amongst the myriad of nooks and crannies stuffed with receipts and god knows what else, then pays and then gets hit with the question:
"Do you want cash back?". Which further delays the whole process which could have all been decided whilst waiting in the queue.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

This - deserves a whole thread of its own so people ( or should that be just men ) can vent at this daily occurring type of behaviour0 -

Run the taps when you're washing the toothpaste away, of course, but I'm talking about when people wet their toothbrush, then leave the tap running while they put toothpaste on the brush and are then brushing with the toothpaste. After you've finished doing that and it's time to spit the toothpaste out and rinse it away, that's when the water should be turned back on.0 -

perhaps I should clarify. Why not have buttons for preview, submit etc all on the same bar, rather than having options all over the place.
