a lack of an apostrophe isnt a spelling mistake its pure laziness on my part.

note i havent bothered with three of them in these two lines. As well as not bothering to capitalise the i.

Complaint email sent at 5pm on Friday. Just after they closed.
    Opening hours Sunday: 0800-1630 - 8.5 hours
    Opening hours Monday: 0600-1800 - 12 hours
That is a total of 20.5 hours

They've been open since 0600 this morning, its now 0930 so that is the 24hour working hours that mroli (i think it is) claims is fine for them to contact me within.

Spasypaddy - I think you need to chill the feck out, there are bigger things to moan about then a delivery arriving a day late to be honest....

what are you hoping Wiggle will do when they respond anyways?

I bet you'll find that 'working hours' are 9-5 Monday - Friday, or something similar, regardless of when there is actually someone there.

i think you'll find im quoting those working hours off their website. if they aren't going to work those hours then dont publicly post them on your website.

Fair enough. I have to agree with the others though mate, you seem really pissed off about something that isn't a big deal in the scheme of things. You don't do yourself any favours if you let stuff like this really get to you, you just end up being pissed off most of the time.

Amazon have just dispatched a parcel to me. They've chosen to use "My Hermes" (never heard of them).

    Really?

You were let down for a next day delivery, got your £6 back but because they didn't apologise they're dead to you.

Genuine question. You want to buy something in future, Wiggle offer the best price, will you pay more to use another retailer because of this?

wiggle has superb customer service, especially the returns. Have to return something to CRC, wishing I'd used wiggle.

Wiggle will never ever offer the best price for anything you could possibly want to buy?

    Ever?

ETA - Jeez it's not that complicated a question. Are you so upset by Wiggle's lack of apology that you wouldn't buy off them in future even if it cost you more to buy elsewhere.

As others have said you need to chill a bit.

    This thread is ridiculous!

The BR admins have let themselves down by allowing people to join who may post threads like this. I'm going to sh*t in a box and post it to them.

the only reason i bought off them this time was i managed to get a voucher that took the product i wanted below cost price. they made a loss on my sale.

I am pretty chilled thanks. i just dont like bad customer service.

City Link have sent a good apology
I am sorry that you are unhappy with our service and thank you for letting us know.

I was concerned to receive your email and I have registered your comments as a formal complaint. We take complaints like this seriously and we always follow them up with our drivers.

Your email has been forwarded straight to our depot manager so that he/she may investigate. Once the investigation is complete, disciplinary or other action will be taken against the driver.

I would also like to apologise for any prolonged wait you experienced when trying to contact our customer care line. We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and as a result our customers are having to wait for longer than we would like. We are putting measures into place in order to combat this.
I will now close this case. However, if there’s anything else I can help you with, please do contact me.

I hope that this incident will not deter you from using City Link again, and I would like to apologise once again, on behalf of City Link, for any inconvenience caused.

    Kind regards,

They may be the cheapest but it doesn't mean he'll use them. I never use Tredz, Shiny Bikes or Fudges as they have all screwed me about before. I'd rather pay more than give them my business.

Ha - and again, Fudges have given me incredible service previously, helping me out of a pickle...

Funny isn't it, how people have such polar differing experiences of retailers.
  • That reply from CL is standard template, for someone who works in customer service, quite surprised you felt pleased with that response.

Think you need to move away from whatever it is in your life that is stressing you out so much, to get so angry over something so petty is pretty incredible, and I am genuinely worried for you. Let me know if I can help, I have contacts that can help you out.

its good because it was an actual apology, rather than just an email stating we've refunded you the £5.99 like wiggle sent. i will still be avoiding them in future.

i have little to no stress in my life. i just have a few pet hates and one of them is making arrangements and then being let down.
  • I think Wiggle come out of this quite well, after all they have refunded you for a service you didn't get. OK, City Link have issued what you call (on another thread) a profuse apology... but it isn't really because I have the exact same email from some time ago when I had an issue with them (they deliver to me most days, so do all the others). You seem both easily pleased and easily "disgusted" at the same time.
