He still hasn't been round to thank me personally.

I'd get your missus to tweet about that if I were you.

    A Welsh Queen stage?

  • If this is the Queeny would be nice to have a non-sprinter after the finish.

    Lovely roads.

JTL in the group of about 20 riders. Racer that guy is - Contador will get him for Saxo by the end of next year.

Maybe he doesn't want to join a bunch of dopers, Frenchie.

  • Who is this 'Oooskadell Oooskadial' of whom Porter speaks?
  • 5 Garmins near the front. Sep is up there on GC and been active so far this ToB.

Nothing beats Rob Hayles' attempts at pronouncing "Saur-Sojasun". It makes him sound like he's been knocking back purple meths all morning.

I think Haas might be the man for Garmin, judging by the conversation I had with him at the Garmin Ride Out last Friday.

Except he'll be at Sky where they'll suck the life out of him and turn him into a winning machine... emphasis on machine?

I think you misunderstood me :P I think the Sky way of doing it... by turning riders into winning machines, emphasis on machines, is the RIGHT way to do it.

I just know Frenchie would disagree as he'd rather lose with style than win with strength.
  • The peloton has been strung out for a while now along the valley yet the lead groups advantage has grown.

Rob Hayles suggesting the split might not be accurate. Time down to 2'06" now

Top top rider. He pushed me all the way over a one mile time trial and only just lost. Chapeau.
