  • I don't hate him, he just hasn't got much class in the way he wins. He also exudes zero passion for the sport. Just my opinion.

    Not really.

Not sure where the Gerrans hate comes from!
It's probably because he's a smart rider - one of the smartest out there. People don't like that.

What nonsense. He won today in exactly the same way Gilbert wins his one day races. By dropping everyone on the uphill.
  • You have got to be out of your mind to compare him to Gilbert who is visible most of the action part of the race, starts a lot action an knows how to attack from sizeable distance. I would post a significant amount of photos to jog your memory but I am on my phone.

GP Quebec page is telling me:
    "Belle end year for Gerrans"

    Did Luis Sanchez start ?

Don't particularly like Gerrans as a person but you have to give him credit for what he's done this season.

I didn't get to see the race, what happened to Sagan? Did he just have to do too much work on the front and fell away?
  • Gerrans just leaves me 'meh'. Can say fair play to some of his wins, but dont know what it is but I'm starting to get to the point where if he's in a 2-up like yesterday I'm cheering for the other rider, no matter who he is.

Agree, without Gerrans OGE's season would be looking pretty poor overall.

He tried to get across the gap to the to the front 2. Got close but couldn't quite get on. Then was swamped in the sprint for 3rd.

First time I've seen this race. Looks like a combination of a tough course and tired riders...

Cheers. I see what you mean about tired riders!
  • Thanks. Based on that, looks like Van Av and G worked equally and G even was leading with 300m odd to go.

    Thanks!!

    Garmin - Peter Stetina
    Sky - Michael Barry
Radioshack - is it Zubeldia? Looks a bit too big. Busche maybe.
    Spidertech - maybe Hugo Houle
