Movistar driving the peloton quite hard with a good 6 on the front. Garmin, BMC and Katusha are gathering nearby.

Break is only 25 seconds away with 30km to go.

Nicest place in North America this.

    In my limited experience anyway.

    All together now.

Roelandts has done some good work on the front. Surprising given the parcous...

Now a few people are pinging off the front as soon as the front of the peloton slowed down. Sorensen and some weirdo Canadian.

    FFS.

People are off the front chasing the duo and they're chatting about f*cking currency.

Not much happening beyond a gaggle of movistar riders calling it a day.

Oh, so Pineau attacks, presumably for Chavanel. QS following the wheels of the LQ boys who are looking to chase to put them off.

Pineau's joined by a europcar rider.

No idea who, commentator's keener on telling me who's falling off the back.

So did Movistar sit everyone on the front for a lap just to get some airtime before they all peeled into the hotel? ha!

Kern's the europcar guy (thanks to the graphic).

Almost binned it on a downhill corner so took him a good 2 minutes to get back up to Pineau.

Not very far ahead of the peloton are those 2. Call it 10 seconds? and another 10 to the front group of Sorensen and some random canadian.

tho actually they did name-check Kern as Europcar rider

Who's the Vacons rider at the front. Not Leukemans is it?
  • Who's the Sky rider? The best I can get out of the Canadian commentators is that 'he's a Sky rider'

    Nordhaug?

    At a guess.

Anyone know who's in the chasing group beyond Wegman? they're gonna meet the leaders very soon.

Riders are going to have to wear giant numbers so commentators can see them.

I'd back a fresher Devenyns over a tired Sorensen.

    Peloton a little confused.
