this looks like an awsome stage. A bit cooler too.
I shall turbo as i watch this one.0 -
Contador is the Greatest0

The climb before only has 10km or so of descending before this one. So if people are feeling up for it, an attack for GC could easily and safely be made before the climb above.Contador is the Greatest0

Great stage with Mosquerra, Frank S, Nibali, J-Rod and Tondo. And Uran riding for Caisse!Contador is the Greatest0 -
I fancy Froome today becuase at some point he has to stop J-Rod finishing in front of him getting a time bonus. Ideal would be for small break to gain time on GC riders allowing Froome to go for broke to build a gap. Not sure they want the yello yet though.0

Break:
Cameron Meyer (Orica-GreenEdge), Javier Ramirez (Andalucia), Amael Moinard (BMC), Mickael Buffaz (Cofidis), Francisco Aramendia (Caja Rural) and Marijn Keizer (Vacansoleil-DCM)
Took 75km as pace was very high.
They have about 7 mins now.

There's still so many climbing miles to go though and Froome could easily put 2+ minutes into Rodriguez in the TT. J-Rod is the fastest climber in the world on steep gradients so I think Sky are much more likely to wait for the really long mountain climbs and use the likes of Henao and Uran to try and ride the other GC guys off their wheel.0 -
Are these climbs long enough to negate Rodriguez' advantage on the short steep stuff?0

Yeah, Contador can drop JRod without much difficulty when he needs to.Contador is the Greatest0

Looks like Froome only has Porte, Henao and Uran on the front...unless some had to go back for bottles.Contador is the Greatest0

Contador come up to Froomes side so he knows he is still there and fine.Contador is the Greatest0

So no attacks on that climb unfortunately. All to play for on the finale.Contador is the Greatest0

There's quite a lot of picture break up on Eurosport. Surprised to see Sky doing this kind of work on the front this early in the race. Still so many hard stages to come.0

Yeah, I hope this picture breakup isnt going to happen too often when we hit the climb.Contador is the Greatest0

I predict Froome will blow in the final week. If he keeps this up to the finish after the Tour he had then he's superhuman.0 -
6.7km to go. Where is Contador?0

Looks like the entire Euskaltel team on the back. I'll say it again - the 'Climbing team' don't climb that well.Contador is the Greatest0

Breakaway is ~1min20 ahead with about 5.5km to go. Uran and Henao on the front for Sky.0

Too fast for an attack. Need to wait 2km or so.Contador is the Greatest0
