Yeah. Movistar are riding very quickly on the front of this very shallow climb.

Quintana I believe. Ballan looking a little ominous.

Temperature 37.5. Peleton shedding at the back. Escapados down to 1:4.

    Saxobank at the front.

De Gendt strong in the break as per usual.

Difference is, post Giro podium, they give him a lot less time.

De Gendt on his own at the front. About 45 seconds. 14 km to go. On the descent on penultimate climb. Saxo chasing hard. Froome's in there somewhere, about 5 back?

Saxo seem to be working quite hard. I am not sure they should be that bothered.

It's more about positioning now than chasing de Gendt.

    13 hairpins in the climb.

    De Gendt is ridiculously impressive...

Took a LOT of effort to bring him back.

Contador loses 18 seconds on the road to J Rod, who beats Froome by 2 seconds.

    Then you add the bonuses.

No mistake from J Rod this time

That'll be why he didn't attack then.

Always does on these kind of finishes though.

J-Rod is very impressive at that. Great sprint on him comes in handy and he can hold the pace.

J-Rod, few secs to Froome, 10 secs to Valverde, 20 secs to Contador.

Was all together with top favourites until about 500m to go.

More like 5 seconds. Froome had a bit of a wobble before the line.

He sometimes suffers during the super high speed stuff, like what Sky do, so that was good.

Saxo's work a bluff then? It served no purpose at all. When it mattered Sky took over and they were gone.

Shocked to see AC have no response at that stage.

Contador looking very vulnerable there. Question is whether he has time left to ride himself into shape...

Cobo didn't look as bad as he did earlier in the week - slowly getting into shape?

    Gesink and Mollema both struggling
