So, Cooke and Armistead,

I've just been listening to them saying they are keeping their options open. Armistead if it finishes as a bunch sprint, Cooke if she gets into a break.

What? How will that work then?

Surely if Cooke gets herself into a break by essentiall riding for herself early on then the rest of the team won't chase it down, will they? The two strategies don't complement each other at all.

I think there could be a few tantrums today.

    They compliment very well.

Police the breaks with a dangerous rider. If the break goes, you'd take you chances with Cooke in the break.

Let other riders chase it back - if it gets back, you've got a fresh Armistead.

It's almost as if they had more than just Plan A....

    Fair enough,

So Cooke actively tries to get in/instigate a break and Armistead sweats it out and lets other teams chase. At what point do the team throw all their eggs into Armistead's basket and start drilling it on the front if there are no breaks out?

If they're not represented in the groups ahead.

Women's racing is less predictable than men though. I'd expect to see the brits heavily mark Vos and other Dutchies whatever happens.

I'm going to make a bold prediction....

It will be Vos, or a Team GB rider.

So there is a bit of potential tension then as it's up to Cooke, to some extent to try and represent herself in the break. Also, if the strategy is such a no brainer and both possibilities are perfectly compatible one wonders where all the 'who's in charge' garbage comes from. The media I suppose.

    Either way, good luck girls.

I'm really looking forward to this race, should be a really interesting one. Just a shame the Box Hill circuit isn't closer to the finish, as with only two laps. But with women's racing, it does liven up a lot more, so you never know.

Bronzini punctures, Kristin ARmstrong (the most tested Armstrong in the world) puts the hammer down.

Its really wet isn't it, lots of puddles all over the road.

Major drafting. No teammates - fail. No radios to pull them back.

Yesterday one of the dropped riders, possibly either the Syrian or Georgian was actually hanging on to the back of a car going about 50mph! Sticky windscreen wiper
