Maybe he'll lead out Cav and then keep pushing for Silver?
why not? it's not like it's a tour stage where they'll all get the same time and they can have another crack tomorrow. If it a sprint on the Mall and if Cav is led out by Team GB and Eisel and if Cav leaves his sprint until late then why not keep pushing and hope for the best for silver and bronze?
1-2-3 won't happen but 1-2 or 1-3 isn't out of the question. It depends how it looks when they arrive on the mall. Look at the lead that Cav had on his first Champs Elysee victory all due to a bit of a cock-up by the rest of the sprinters trains in the last right hander. Cav and Renshaw suddenly had 100-150 m advantage and came home 1-2 IIRC.0 -
