    Yeah, and I thoughthe Mr Bean thing was quite funny.

    As for the rest, it reminds me of something a class of year 6's have put together for the end of school play.

    There's more to come. I haven't seen those birdmen on their bikes yet (a poster on here is one I think). Plus no Macca yet. Or Beckham. And we know they're involved.

    Although Im completely allergic to do-goodey cheesy stuff, (the thought of west end musicals makes me feel completely sick) I think that Boyle has done a good job of it for a younger audience, and that's really what it should be all about. I know my folks will be saying 'its a shame about all that awful music' when I see them, so it probably wasn't too good for the oldies either.

    Hey, let's not knock Macca. He's OK. A decent bloke, wrote a lot of great songs. If he hadn't been shot, the now more popular Lennon would have been insufferable. Like a supersized Bono.

    No, let's knock him. His contribution to music and song-writing was (past tense - ie. nothing after the beatles) immense, but it doesn't mean he hasn't become a completely annoying twonk, in his 60s dying his hair, plastic surgery and doing the peace sign all the time. Football in the face.

    Anyway I heard he's been cancelled and for his Britishness, Jarvis Cocker is going to light the flame with a lighter and one of his farts.

    It's been quite good, up until the teams being presented. OMG that's going on a bit. Team GB not due out until midnight - I hope I don't see Cav!

    Not Macca again surely. Beckham looked like he was doing a James Bond impression in that speedboat.

    So is it Macca knocks out Hey Jude and Beckham lights the thing or passes it to whoever does?? If they want a proper Olympian legend Brit they should have Daley Thompson do it. Or Derek Chisora.
