Namibia's Dan Craven may be my new favourite athlete.

Buying a Namibian flag now to turn out roadside just for the same reason.

Rode over to Box Hill this afternoon. Some graffiti on the tar already. USA men and Canadian ladies riding around casually like they'd just unpacked the bikes and were stretching the legs. Dutch team appear to have taken over the hotel at the bottom opposite Rykas cafe, judging by the group of Rabobank team vehicles squeezed inside the parking area between the hedge and the building. Apparently Vos and a few others were about early this morning, but had disappeared before the mamils got too numerous. A couple of BMC cars were about too. Probably more teams there after tomorrow when the road gets closed off to public traffic. Barriers stacked up in clusters by the roadside of the circuit – it's getting exciting, like seeing the Christmas decorations going up.

Bit suprising that Sagan is the only Slovakian (Slovak?) in the race, no?

More surprising to me is that France only have 4 riding with one of them being Bourgain. Odd

I quite like it. Certainly an improvement on the kit used at the World's last year.

I saw those photos earlier... What I want to know is where did they keep their cafe money?
