He used to ride for the Livestrong team
He defended Armstrong as a legend after the USADA report was published
He leaves Sky during their purge
He signs for Movistar led by the unrepentant doper piti.valv
Perhaps he was just naive when he called Armstrong a legend and really hasn't come across a doping culture like he claims, but he might be in for a shock come next season!
Now I'm no doctor but does anyone really believe that a haemophilliac would mess around with PED's?
The pitchforks seem to be getting larger the longer this goes on.
Not that I think there's anything at all to base insinuations on but I used to think of another rider 'surely someone who has come back from a life threatening illness wouldn't risk their health on PRDs' but it seems to some people winning is worth risking literally everything for. Ultimately the risk of a bleed in a crash is probably higher than from taking PEDs.0 -
Where would Dowsett fit into a Movistar GT squad? Would he just offer them a bit of a workhorse protecting the team leader on the flat?0

Yep - useful in a TTT as well. Possible break rider?http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Interview with Dowsett and Ned Boulting: http://audioboo.fm/boos/1033071-alex-dowsett-movistar
Seems like they want him to target short stage races where there's a TT (mentions Eneco Tour as an example).0 -

Carlos Verona, 19 years old, to OPQS. Interesting team choice for a talented Spanish young climber0

Part of the reason for Rodríguez’ decision to extend his contract at Katusha has been the removal of general manager Hans-Michael Holczer, who has been replaced by former RadioShack director Viatcheslav Ekimov, who rode on Lance Armstrong’s Tour de France team between 2000 and 2005.
"The relationship with Holczer had become untenable,’ Rodríguez explained. “The change in the team leadership has given everyone peace of mind, and I think it will be positive for the future.
"Things are back to normal, I'm happy with this team and we are negotiating the continuity of all of the Spanish block until the end of 2014.”Contador is the Greatest0 -
Anyone know where LLS is headed? Still with white label Rabo? He took 7 of their 15 wins this year.

Before the removal of Mr Magoo, wasn't Purito trying to get out of his contract?0 -

OPQS is becoming like HTC. Winners from everywhere... except GC and Ardennes.
Boonen, Cav, Chava, Terpstra, Martin, now Meersman. I could see Fenn and Stybar winning some decent races too.0 -

Not a transfer but comments from Gilbert about BMC contract. Funny that a team would make a rider use different pedals and saddles then they wanted even if it would make them win more. Of course maybe Gilbert is saying this now as an excuse and he never mentioned it during the year.

To be fair to Gilbert there were rumours that he was unhappy with equipment and missing his Canyon. I seem to recall his father talking about it in the early part of the season.0 -
Sky ditched the Prologo saddles pdq too - Rodrego will probably be able to confirm/not, but I did hear that a no of riders didn't really like them...http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Shocker - "Man in middle of contractual legal action with employer says "Its not my fault I was shite for much of the season""'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0
