AG2R have signed Pozzovivo and Betancur. I'd be surprised if JTL chooses them.

Even better than Garmin that would be.

Don't understand how a system where you can sign for a different team in August and move in January can ever work.

Will Roche be working for Contador in the Vuelta or AG2R?

I did think that on Stage 5 actually, when Roche, Contador and Froome were in a group on the final climb. When Roche kicked up the hill thought it was the old 'one-two' attack tactic on Froome, but no-one went with him in the end, last time that will happen this next forthnight!

Is that resign or re-sign? One of those words where a change of punctuation makes a huge difference!!

Yes, his career really hasn't gone to plan has it.

World and Olympic mtb champ Jaroslav Kulhavy to OPQS or Saxo is being touted-it'd be interesting, the guy is very very strong on the climbs for a big guy. If he lost a little weight/upper body muscle mass I could see him fitting the big powerhouse classics/TT engine mould.

And they are both Specialized equipped teams....which he rides, and used the new Spesh 29er last year. Another Evans...???

Michael Barry is retiring at the end of the season. Off to some sort of journalism I would imagine.

Yeah there's seemingly a Specialized link there. Can't see him emulating Evans-he's just too big!

Seems like Specialized are definitely the link.

Just when he was showing some real ability he consigns himself to the life of a domestique (and a big pay cheque).

Well he's shown he's a fringe top 10 contender in stage races, a good climber, and a pretty good one day rider.

I think it's a decent move for him. He'll likely replace Nordhaug in the one day team, have team support in Tirreno, and ride Giro/Tour as super domestique. It's not as if OPQS were about to change their team focus towards GC riders.

Exactly my thoughts. Even more so when Mr Cavendish arrives at OPQS.

Haven't heard anything. My guess was he, Cav, and Eisel would all like to go to the same place, but that is purely a guess.
