So, exactly how fat are you?

  • About 67kg; 6'0 in height.

Heavier than I should be, but I've mostly had an involuntary summer off cycling and gone from doing nearly 40 miles each day to 0, so I've put on a kilo or two. Nothing catastrophic!
  • Too overweight in the tummy region, if I had that under control I wouldnt be too fat but it is persistent even after lots of cycling.

A determined diet improvement, a job I can cycle commute to and maybe more swimming is needed.

I actually lose weight quite easily if I exercise loads but have lost loads of fitness due to an accident so need to ramp up the miles this winter and eat more veg and less rubbish, for sure.

    I'm technically Namibian.

So now I can have a good laugh at the fat lads and there stories about how Britain is becoming overweight. Stop fucking eating you fat bastards. saying this I pretty much eat what I want and never change weight.

Better go and eat a pie.

I view BMI as nothing more than a good indicator, and not be taken too seriously...

You know something is wrong in this country, I'm 6 foot and 83kg, I went to buy a jumper a couple of weeks ago and I had to buy a Small! FFS no way am I small! So exactly who fits in the XXL, not to mention the 5XL that is advertised on telly like a badge of honour!

    Quick update from me.

Had a really bad sickness bug last week, and lost half a stone. I've not put it back on yet.

It actually makes a difference when climbing. I'm lovin' it!

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

Last scales I stood on said ERROR, bu they top out at 65kg so I don't know exactly probably 83-85kg
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
  • Most like a woman from Nepal.... But I bet she doesn't have a hankering for jelly babies like I've developed since taking up cycling :)
