This might pass a few more minutes of your miserable, boring existence.

With a BMI of 21, I'm slam dunking in next to your average bloke from East Timor. How fat are you?
This makes me wonder how many big units we must actually have in this country, and we are by no means the worst.
God knows where Twiggo fits in.

This week I am mostly like somebody from Macedonia? Go figure.0
-
Never mind that, where the hell is Sao Tome and Principe?
I put Bradley Wiggins' details in from the Sky website and it turns out he's most like someone from Eritrea, which is bottom of the list
No wonder he can climb hills faster than I can......Head Hands Heart Lungs Legs0 -
BMI 27
But it used to be 31.
Just think how fast I'll be able to climb when I get it to 24. :PNone of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.0 -
My BMI is 23, I'm like someone from Tanzania  but I'm lower than 91% of men my age in the UK and if everyone in the world was similar to me it would reduce the world's weight by over 9million tons0

Ecuador to Slovakia
aka 26 and 2/3rds of UK males have a higher BMIAllez Triple (hairy with mudguards) - FCN 4

Interesting to see where the UK fits in the fat world, not as high up the list as I imagined it would be, a way to go to catch the USA, but I think with a bit more effort (not physical effort obviously) it could happen
At 20 BMI I would feel at home in Nepal. Mrs T with a BMI of 17 would make a Bangladeshi look fat! Need to take her bikes away and get her to start eating that processed food I have heard about.my isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
Michelle Laverty, 43, from the US, on holiday in London: Weight 220lb, Height 5ft 4in = BMI 38
App rating: Most like an average person from Tonga
Michelle Laverty
"Wow, I was shocked to see how high my BMI was. I'm aware I'm overweight. I guess I hadn't given it that much thought and thought about it globally. Its interesting that I am like someone from Tonga. Goodness, imagine that."
I suspect she's not the only lardar$e who thinks they're not fat :roll:0 -
Senegal. but better lookingPeter0

Mongolian is I. Which probably explains why I just go round the big hills rather than over them.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0

My BMI is just under 24 and I climb like crap!
BMI is an odd measure though as its only really theoretical.. i.e. it doesn't really work for athletes who are more muscular
but Its quite shocking to see that the chart says I could drop 20kg and still be a 'normal' weight... I'm 100% sure that would be a very unhealthy thing to do.0 -
Nicaragua in the morning, Denmark after dinner!0

bmi was 32 and now 28.
so in 4 months i've gone from being like someone from Tonga to someone from the USA
or from fat to being..............................
well, less fat but still fat0 -
I put Jay Cutler's stats in for a laugh ..
Age : 38
Height : 1.75m
Weight : 274lbs (in contest shape. 310 off season)
BMI : 41 !
The guy is about 5% bodyfat, which shows you how useless BMI is for telling you how 'fat' you are. You're far better using skin fold calipers or even working it out from tape measure readings, which although not as good as calipers, are waaaaaay better than BMI.All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!

I just googled this meathead, since I've never heard of him. You're right though, he seems like a very typical and average looking guy. There is every reason to throw out BMI measurements since they don't apply too well to this very standard looking fellow.
You keep checking yourself with your 'skin fold' calipers and I'll just use the simple height-weight calculation, no matter how useless it is.0 -

I am targeting to lose another stone at which point I think I will be at my "fighting weight", i.e. light enough to climb while still keeping my power. Unfortunately that would still leave "overweight" with a BMI of 25.
To get to the middle of the "healthy" band, I would have to lose 3 stone.
I can't see where I'd lose it from without losing muscle. I could get to 9 stone 5 and still be considered "normal".
I've not been that weight since I was a skinny (@) 13 year old!None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.0 -
