Except that dealing with the press is part of his job. No need to be a **** about it. He should be used to it by now.

He wasn't exactly being a ****, just giving short, not especially verbose, answers and his job, first and foremost is to win races, I like the fact that the Team Sky media training doesn't seem to have worked 100%

I said part of his job, I didn't day it was the most important part. There's no need for it, the Tour has only started he's not under massive pressure or anything. Perhaps it's the new diet he's on, low carbs makes me grumpy :P

To be fair, the new lady Eurosport have got in doing the interviews is even worse than the Ron Jeremy lookalike they had last year. And that's some feat.

Are Harmon and Kirby doing it together again, Jeez they talk some sh*t. Kirby especially. Almost as bad as P+P useless historical facts about anything and everything. Erm....I'm here for the cycling?!

I'm enjoying it TBH. I stopped watching ITV4 yesterday and watched the rest of the stage on Eurosport on Cycling Fans - just couldn't take any more of P&P.

Yeah don't get me wrong, even Harmon and Kirby is a dream team compared to P+P!

It should just ALWAYS be Harmon and Kelly. The End.

(PS. the best bits are always when Harmon says something that he considers factual and then asks Kelly to agree, only for Kelly to say rather Bluntly in thick Oirish accent: 'No'.)

How are you supposed to talk about cycling for 4 hours on a day like today?

Only three weeks of it to go  You need a strategy. Start with Eurosport (HD if possible), as it starts first, then when adverts come on, change to ITV 4. When adverts come on ITV4, change back. Ensures minimum advert watching, and a regular change of mindless chatter. (chateau factor high this pm.)

I'd rather watch the Sidi advert than flick to ITV4 and listen to P+P.

ITV4's commentary is at its very best when the TV is set to 'mute'.

Its was the patronising of sportive riders and discarding their energy gel wrappers that started it today...

I take it littering is OK if you're getting paid?

His point was correct, but it was so damn patronising... "you are not cool" x 2 :D

he justifies the pros doing in because apparently there is a "big clean up team" that follows behind (note this is complete BS - On some mountains there are local municipality refuse collectors, but no "travelling team". They usually place garbage bags every 100m or so and collect them after the stage once all the camper vans etc start to move away)

He does seem to reserve special disdain for Sportive riders...

Could be a puncture, a crash or a pee. Take your pick.

Possibly for the same reason you were away from your desk, thought to be a comfort break.
