    Seems like he'd run out of clean cycling socks that day and was forced to wear his 'work' ones instead.

    Lesser teams will be cycling on lighter bikes as they won't have factored that extra weight into their training.

    I know it's already been answered at least twice now but why would he even have any non nat champs jerseys? Until after the champs he would never have to wear a standard sky jersey so he probably hasn't got any of the current ones and I bet last years have been binned now.

    Yeah, they do train in it. Notably, Google StreetView managed to capture Tom Boonen hanging around outside Vansummeren's house, ready to start a training run.

    It's a fairly large apartment block that extends along the street. The car may belong to someone else.

    Perhaps he's done like Zabel and rented an apartment to store his bike in, in order to keep "she-who-must-be-obeyed" sweet.

    The womens gb track team is here as well at the moment and had joanna rowsell on my wheel on saturday morning really nice girl.

    Talking to the teams mechanic he said the sky team are here this week to train and cav will not be with them, and wiggo is not staying in alcuida as he usually does he is somewhere else on the island.
