chocolate milk for recovery?

I bought 2 nice ripe mangos from the market at lunchtime, a tub of youhurt and blended it with some ice cubes and milk. Tasted great. And cooled me down nicely this afternoon.Dunno if it's cheaper, but there's a zing you get when you make it yourself0

Quite a lot of calories there, I'm thinking. (depending on the yoghurt you used)
Some yoghurts have some protein in, but many don't have all that much (so far as I know), especially in proportion to the amount of sugar. I was taken aback when I first read the nutritional values on a fruit Onken pot...
Something like that might not be a bad thing *before* riding - if I recall a smoothie is a staple item in Team Sky's racing breakfast - though you might want to cut down on the yoghurt and use banana instead. For recovery though, it doesn't get much easier, cheaper and effective than a quick hit of protein and carbs straight after, so I'll stick with MP.0 -
