    What's van Avermaet doing?
  • rick_chaseyrick_chasey Posts: 66,309 Lives Here
You'd think BMC would hold it in till the Kemmel.

And why let van Avermaet do anything unless it's properly attacking/following?

    Waste.
  • Smart Cav, hoping to start the climb near the front.

a big off for 3 or 4 Ugalde - Commeyne - and pavarin looks bad
  • EKIMIKEEKIMIKE Posts: 2,232
I agree! BMC have been using van Avermaet terribly so far in the classics. He's clearly strong but they want to sit him on the front doing the work any number of riders can do.
  • ddraverddraver Posts: 25,328
He was nt exactly going hard though, suspect they re trying to hold position at the front more than anything else....
