Certain religous people think that god forgives all so some are not "good" because why be good when you can be forgiven for all your sins by a "celibate" bloke in a frock

Why do they put lightning conductors on churches though eh? Answer me that?

    gently trolling, don't be offended!

Duh. Churches tend to be tall buildings, and lightning tends to strike tall buildings. Even if you were to take the view that all lightning is divinely targeted, your assuming that only 'good' people go to church.

And that lots of trees and cows (and golfers) are evil. :-D

This is frankly shocking. So you're saying not all Christians are good? You should contact the news at once. People need to be told. We can run a parallel 'Not all Muslims are terrorists' story to really make 'em think.

Edited to add. Sorry. I will not respond to this any more!

You side-stepped my 'someone is wrong on the internet' trigger.

    All is well.

Did you expect me to bite? :D

    I obviously did!

    Biting isn't very Christian.

Smiley. Sorry, not a great day yesterday, and humour reserves were running low.

Let's just say that the more fundamentalist wings of every religion give the more reasonable, but less shouty majority a bad name. Much like politics. Anyway, let's leave it at that.

Given that the so called Bible Belt in the US - ie Kansas, Arkansas, Tennessee etc is also largely Tornado Alley one can only assume that the Lord is not that impressed with Christian fundamentalists

I'd have thought most extremists would fit the bill.
