    Who's on the front?

Sky. Displaying all the urgency of a pot smoking sloth.

To be fair there is no point in doing anything else unless someone dangerous goes up the road, they probably have to do their "duty" having the leaders jersey, but they need to save their legs for the stages when Wiggins is going to need more help.

It wasn't a criticism. It's exactly what I'd tell them to do.

Moncoutie doesn't fully wake from hibernation until late July, hence the little nap on the roadside.

I know he properly hates the cold (know the feeling), but why don't they make him do cross over winter so that he's in some reasonable shape come the first half of the season?

Oh my god, what a thought. Would he last one lap without crashing and breaking something?

Amazingly, he won the Tour of the Med last year.

That is amazing. There must have been a mid February heatwave in the South of France or something.

Cross? Getting him to do some training would be a start.

I'd set him races that he had to show a good performance in (perhaps via wattage rather than results) across the season, else I'd f*ck his pay.

You want money for January and February? I want good numbers in TDU and Tour of Med.

    March April? Paris Nice please.

    May June?

    Romandie

    etc.

Pfft. Moncoutié has been with Cofidis for about 40 years, I'm sure that kind of loyalty means they cut him some slack when it comes to winter training. He'll pay the team back in the Vuelta.

If reading FF's posts has shown me something, it's that cycling fans are as fickle as they come, but when it comes always being liked/respected, you must always be seen to turn your guts inside out at every opportunity.

Isn't that what Andy Schleck did on the team bus this morning before he went home?

    That looked painful!

Looked like the Leakygas rider used the Katusha rider as a trampoline

Sounds like a cover. Think he was really upset with all the twitter heat he was getting for his TT. :|

He's proabably all better now, at home, glass of hot milk and his feety pyjamas, playing "Just Dance" on the Wii.

He really is rubbish at TTs.

I was there in person in Rotterdam and he was visibly slower - not just by his body-language, but actually moving more slowly. Lost a minute over 8km or something.

He only copes in the final TTs because he's been lugging 10kg less than everyone else for a good 3,000km at that point.

    Valverde. Nice.

    Cant keep a champ down.

Did anyone know Gerrans was riding? Did he just show his nose in the final few metres? I didn't watch it but cnews ticker makes it sound that way.

Gerrans came from an age back, great sprint by him, just pipped on the line by valverde...
