Good bump. I just ordered some names on frames type deal. Will I go as fast as Sir Wrad Biggins?

Will you post pictures of them when you get some, especially if they are superb ?

Has anyone managed to locate any decals of Gillian Anderson, or is some sort of sinister, shadowy organisation conspiring to ensure they are never brought to market?

I would like to post them, but then I would have to kill you/the world/all the internet users.

Is that the end of this thread now a picture of a decal has been posted? MatthewFalle has gone quiet since he asked about them on Road General. Should that go to the conspiracy thread?

    The Stickers.

The decals are printed onto clear waterproof vinyl. Flag size is 10mm & the writing is 4mm high.

Your stickers will be printed onto external grade clear vinyl & then the sticker is cut ready to be applied.

Haha, they refer to them as both, madness! What constitutes a decal and a what would a sticker?

    Can of worms!

Yeah, I suppose they are covering both areas as a marketing thing.

So we aren't sure exactly which means I reckon the thread is still unsolved!:lol:
  • From the Oxford English Dictionary....

Decal: Noun; A design prepared on special paper for transfer onto another surface such as glass, porcelain, or metal.

Sticker: Noun; An adhesive label or notice, generally printed or illustrated.

Now that would suggest a decal is applied differently, as it's not part of the base substrate. (Think Airfix models...). Or not. I'm still confused. Maybe Manc33 can offer an appropriate (conspiracy) theory....?

Yes, and they are saying that they transfer a decal onto a sticker - hence in this case you literally get both...!

I'm sure he'll show up on a google search doing what he does best on another forum.

They have been applied, they have faded, they have cracked and shrivelled up and fallen off by now.

Its all bolox anyway ..... all these so called decal makers are great if you want Specialized or Giant written on your bike .. or your name ... you know the real difficult stuff.

I want someone that can make me a set of Twilight Sparkle, princess of Friendship vs Elsa decals !! ...... not for me, for a 5 year olds bike ..... Twilight Sparkle stickers would look stupid on my bikes, they would clash with the hello kitty stickers
