    Local kebab shop - Big Bites, Lancaster. I get the "house special donner kebab". What's more, I am stone cold sober when I do so.

    La Mirage chip shop in Helmsdale, Sutherland. Anyone on a lejog trip would do well to stop in. Locally, the central fish bar. KFC have poisoned me on both the occasions I have eaten there and they were on two separate continents. Not a co-incidence.

    Used to be a magic kebab place in abbeyhill called picasso. The chilli sauce was remarkably good.
