Few pics from this mornings ride, well, play around.. Me and Ali aka 1mancity2 were on the trails for 9.
Was interesting, spent more time trying to get some good shots (albeit with crappy blackberry - but hey, better than nothing) than riding. We even managed some air on the table tops, Ali a lot more than me. He's the one getting big air in the pic, i'm the one with the before shot. I did get a little air I promise
Thank god for sealskins socks, see the pic where i went straight through the ice on the pump track..
Saw a few other peeps making there way up as we were making our way down about 11. Was real good fun and great for practising cornering / balance technique.
Enjoy
Where we are going..
Where we'd been
Snail or whatever it is
Top of the berms
And again
Thank you sealskins..
Ali in the air
Me before
Snowy fresh tabletops to finish

Ha ha I know... Half way there I thought I should of stayed in bed, the roads were crap. Where you can cut off the 66 up to burnley, think there'd been a smash there. At the same time on the uphill by the turn off, a guy in a bm was blocking the road cause he couldnt get up the hill. Luckily snook round him by the hard shoulder bit :P
One of them days where everything is telling you not to do it, but it was so much fun when there
And as a bonus, the bike is as clean as it was when I started.0 -
Nice pics Rog, we had a right laugh and nice and clean, did the red line down from the sail and it was mental trying to find the trail..
Enjoyable Morning with a top bloke0 -
Cool shots dodge. Degla was clear apart from the 3 mile climb and any open sections. Was ace fun. Never fell off once which was surprising!!!0

were the roads bad then,, glad i didnt go as that stuipid spaxi van of ours doesnt like the snow,, (as i found out last year as i was going to work,) i tried to go round the roundabout in birchwood were i used to work only to find my self going straight and aiming for the lampost and street sign, lucky for me my boyracer side kicked in and i pulled the handbrake slightly this put me into a drift,(backend) i knew i could control that slide, and i did much to the bemused look on the guys face who was coming round the round about in a mitsubishi pickup..
i was 90 degrees to the roundabout sliding round it almost facing him.. missed my turn though and had to go round again to get my exit, this time straight though...
i have had new tyres put on since then though but still lost my confidence in that car in the snow...
my honda crx was better at least that would drift....www.bearbackbiking.com

Yeah, roads were wonk. A580 was icy, m60 was ok just wet, 66 was dodgy as fook, then when you got off that for rawtenstall it was just silly.
This was clear, compared to the rest of the run

To be fair, when we left about 11:30, the roads were absolutely fine. Just we were up and about before the gritters/ploughs etc.
Cheers, shame the quality isn't too good on the old BB
Must be my gayee stylee rear mudgaurd, keeps my bum nice n dry though. The enduro is a big beast :P1mancity2 wrote:Was surprised Sunday, nothing in Barlick but as soon as I got to Burnley all hell broke loss, luckly I was in the Nivara so no problem in the snow0 -
