It would be fair to say some of the comments left in this thread haven't been too supportive.

All we asked for was nork and wiener piccies - and I did say that the wiener request was out of order - now if that's not being supportive to Steve what is?

    Quite right Yossie. Sorry Steve.

Maybe a piccie of dad wearing your mums dress then. All covered up. Nice and pc.
Oh, and with the tin opener and a can of soup.

That's better - thankyou very much for understanding - very much appreciated.

I hope that I didn't sound like a prude/fascist taker away of free speech - many apologies of I did.

Steve: I hope that no offence was taken by you or your Father to either DF33 or my robust indignation to his initial request for a picture of your Father's wiener.

You need some greens in that meal, Will. Also, have a go at spag bol, that's nice and easy and tastes great; classic student fare.

He may not know how to cook, and his meal may look like the kind of thing even a beagle would turn its nose up at (incidentally they will happily eat their own crap), but at least he is not so ignorant as to ridicule the idea of braising.

Goes to show a lot of know it all's on here, dont actually know as much as they think they do.

If he'd have said "Braising", or "Casserole", or even mentioned cooking in stock or wine that might have been a different matter. But "Steak in water"?

Anyway, I've thought of a fun game. Freehub could cook some good old fashioned traditional meals/dishes, post pictures in this thread and we can have hours of fun trying to figure out WTF they are supposed to be.

Bunch of brits mocking someone's cooking. I can cross one off my things to see list.
  • This is the funniest thread I've seen on here in weeks, I've just read the entire thing I can't stop laughing :lol::lol:

    Can't make my mind up what's worse;

The fact that the OP has got so upset over the comments about his picture of a dogs dinner

    or

The fact that the OP is so sad and lonely he feels the need to take photo's of his evening meal

Incidentally I would also like to see the photo of his mum and dad but don't really want to see his dad's wiener, so can I suggest he hides it whilst the photo is taken, maybe inside his mum would be good!!!

Looks like the teddy is out of the cot.

That beautiful supper picture has been removed. Or is it being replaced by some parent porn?

It should still be available in you browsers cache from yesterday when the thread stared.

Of course if someone was cruel they could find it in there cache and repost it.

I of course am not that cruel.

Incase anyone still doubts the brilliance that is Freehub's culinary skill, I present the following:
    freehub wrote:
I love Marmite, I put 2 tablespoons in a pan with a tins worth of beans and OHHHHH YESSSSS!

I've long been a fan of Freehub's culinary foibles.

@Freehub - It's good to be unique, embrace your eccentricities, screw the haters, illegitimi non carborundum, etc...
I'm intrigued and really, very sincerely, would like to see more recipes (with pics), please.

And I'm not a Brit. So ya boo sucks to you anonymous internet forum posting man.

And anyway, if this thread is one of the things on your list to see, then I'm afraid that's actually quite poor. Normally it's things like the Taj Mahal, the Himalayas at dawn/sunset, your son/daughter's first steps, etc, etc.

At this exact point in time however, we all want to see Steve's Mother's norks (apart from that dude a few posts above who wants to see his Father's wiener (well, Steve's Father's wiener, not posting dude's Father's wiener, if you follow my drift), but we've since discussed that idea and decided that its a no - no really).

Steve: in lieu of your Mother, any sisters/aunts/cousins who could supply the necessary mammeryage for the required purpose? They don't even have to be that fit, just have large norks and not mind getting them out on the internet.

Freehubs ideas have long been a source of amusement on here. I think I am beginning to get over Bhima's absence, when you have posts like this. BR gold. :D

I love freehub, the cooking threads are amazing. I'm tryin to watch a 9/11 documentary but I can't stop laughing at this, the wife is giving me evils. I've been tryin to disguise the tears of laughter as emotion, but the thigh slapping is giving me away.
