one second gap to cobo plus 8 bonus?
  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

    What a a RACER

Hammer down hard. Gap the man, Maintain. Get caught then monster the retake.

    WOW.

And good job Cobo. Bonus seconds for Froome. He should be in the jersey by now if they put faith in him.
    Contador is the Greatest
  • Win or not it doesn't matter (though he will be gutted perhaps) he can go back knowing he gave it all regardless. RESPECT!
  • f4ck me that was brilliant!

I haven't shouted like that watching racing for a while, really thought Cobo had blown there for a minute. Still Froome looking very strong so certainly going to be an exciting few days.

I was promised man-bisons. WHERE WERE THEY, HUH?!

Good stage, but can't envisage where Froome can gain 13 more seconds in the coming days.

They were all in the section not shown on TV - you know, the one where Cobo went from out on his arse to motorbiking back to Froome's wheel....

What a difference a climb makes.
Who would have thought that Froome could take out
    the seemingly unbeatable Cobo?

Love the Pena Cabarga finish. 2 years and it's an instant success.

I'm afraid Chris's maths aren't up to much, he thinks he's just 2 seconds down.

Don't sour a great battle with stuff like this, even if it's in jest.

  • Wow that was exciting! Sprinting uphill and what a couple of cheeky moves overtaking on the inside. Brill! Let's hope Wiggo and Sky can mount a couple of big attacks to really put Cobo under pressure

Well, the call was a commission for work, plus there's Vuelta highlights tonight at Look Mum No Hands – both good reasons for a mid-week beer.
  • Wow. What a finish. "This race is not over" (said in American accent) as someone said in 1989...

Unbelievably exciting. Awesome Froome. Awesome Cobo.

    Wiggo unsurprisingly looking shattered.

I can say what I like thank you very much. It was indeed a great battle, two more exhausted riders you won't see...

Best mountain-top finish I've ever seen. Mucho respect to Froomie for his ride today, and throughout this tour.

Yup... that's what racing should be all about. Great stuff.
