  • To all those who couldn't get to the sale and don't fancy ebay, there are some discounted products now on Rapha's site. Not as cheap as the sample sale, but better than full price.

I've just gone slightly mad on the Rapha sale. Lots of goodness coming my way. Also thanks to Dhope I think for that tip at the 'peth on Friday.

It crashed on me for a while and took ages to process the sale. Bit of a fail really, they should be well aware of how popular their sales are.

    Nope, overloaded - amateurs

I'm kicking myself now for not buying more, they had pretty much everything in my size too

I paid £40 for the 3/4 length trousers, the full length were the same price too.

I stupidly only bought one jersey :x

Very nicely and are currently about the same price. They are a little more 'tailored' and work a little better on the bike, also suit my waist a little better with the stretchy rear panel. Its odd not having normal pockets but the one on rear is big enough for a wallet or iPhone.

FWIW I tried on the trousers and they fitted perfectly however they looked & felt just like any old cheap Gap style chinos - I much prefer my usual Ralph Lauren's which if anyone's interested can be had for £25 instead of £95

I got the trousers in the last sale and I can safely say that they are NOT like any old gap chinos - they have some sort of coating which is good and they are also "stretchy" so move with you on the bike. For £50, I reckon if you like that sort of thing, they are a pretty good buy.

Rapha arm warmers got their first use today, I'd say they're warm but no better than sportful ones and not as good as specialized.

I will be trying them out on the long way home :P
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.
