    Really happy for Samu.

Although, i'd dispute his assertion that he's not a millionaire.

wow, that was amazing. what a final climb. that's what makes the tour worth watching.

    wow.

Watching Cav destroy everyone in a bunch sprint is what makes the Tour worth watching for me. Each to their own ;)

Why don't you hop on a bike and show them how it should be done then gob sh*te? :P

Contador looks fragile, will that encourage the rest to attack more vigourously?

What a charming little pleb you are. Crawl back under a rock.

I found that boring. Let's see the watts per kilo figures for the final climb - they won't be that impressive I can assure you.

Pretty pointless discussing such things with foul mouthed idiots like you anyway. Go play with your train set or something.

He's certainly looking in with a shout for the white jersey. He's up to 3rd in the white jersey competition and 18th overall.

I love how if you ask any cyclist in the world how the Tour mountain stage/sportive/club 10/ 4th cat RR was, their reaction will be "pfffffft hard!"

Average? There were MORE attacks during that ride than during the drug days. The difference was that specific guys weren't able to build huge gaps on people. Without the drugs, they all seem to be a bit more evenly matched, BUT they're all now actually trying to push it, which is MUCH more exciting than one guy destroying everyone else.

From here, all GC contenders rode tempo for 207km out of a 211km stage, then when they did launch a few powder puff attacks, only one went with any meaning and they were all as knackered as each other. That's why I compared it with a sprint stage - without the drugs no one has the ability to attack from a long way out and make it stick it seems. It was all far too tactical for me. Last 500m was mildly exciting but not as much as seeing Greipel and Cav going at it at 60kph for me.

I enjoyed today. I like seeing Bertie in a bit of bother, Evans looking good and in pain, Basso looking like he might have some part to play. Top stuff for me.

Where was Matt? That was very cringeworthy and typically british *scoff at the different languages and how it's messing with my head*.

What's with the TOMMY love? By this, I'm referring to how Voeckler and Danielson can't be Thomas or Tom. No, it has to be TOMMY!

I enjoyed that stage. Contador looking tired from crazy Giro?

What shock here guys? Frank rode well, Samu rode better. The time gaps were small. Contador is hurting, he may turn good he may not. Either way I will back him everytime.

Oh I don't know. I'm hoping someone will take a chance either on Saturday or at the bottom of Alpe d'Huez. Or attack on the Italian side of the Agnel - now that WOULD have be out of my seat :D

But comparing 2003 to 2011, Ullrich and Lance A put them to shame today...far more exiciting n 2003..Ullrich away on Tourmalet ...old school, Hinault 86 tactics, LA dropped, then the crash , the wait and the pat on the back of the French have a go hero as LA stormed by to Luz Ardiden

Had to wait until now to watch the last 10km.
    Hah! Lose Ardiden.
I bet the Smuckies and Cuddles are kicking themselves.
Could have killed Bad Knee Bertie off completely, but were too timid by far.
    Reputations all, eh?

Wow, everyone is surprised nothing much happened on the first mountain stage in the Tour. Is this your first time watching this race?

There are 2 more stages in the high mountains, you don't want to burn your matches today. The wearing down process has begun though.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.
