    S'not that difficult to decend the Tourmalet, either side.

    That bit in the town where Thomas dropped the guys is probably the steepest bit on this side.

    The issue was with the new road surface not the bike.

    Fairly technical for the first 3 or 4k then straight and fast, he'll be fine.
