True Champion dropped on a Tourmalet stage by Damiano Cunegoi!

I think Giro. So hard to keep your form for that long.

Having a gynaecologist clearly helps, eh Frank?.

So, can you explain that with crayons? That's gone right over my head :(

Frank paid money to Fuentes for a 'Training Plan' - Fuentes was the Spanish gynaecologist at the centre of Operation Puerto

wow, that was amazing. what a final climb. that's what makes the tour worth watching.

    wow.

I have a horrible feeling this Tour will be a re-run of 2008 for Cadel.

First day in the mountains is usually quite cagey, but I've got a feeling we'll learn a lot tomorrow.

Current GC odds (will be interesting to see how they change this time tomorrow)
    ASch 11/8
    Cont 2/1
    Evns 5/1
    FSch 26/1
    Bass 50/1

Franck is 17/1 to win tomorrows stage. I'll take a bit of that.

    So now:
    ASch 5/4
    Evns 100/30
    Cont 6/1
    FSch 7/1
    Bass 21/1

Christ that was average! Give 'em the drugs back. It was like a sprint stage without the speed and danger.

    FANTASTIC climb! A few thoughts:

    1. did you see Andy Schleck after he crossed the finish line? He wobbled and almost fell over. WOW.

    2. Contador looked more tired than i've ever seen him. I think the Giro took a lot out of him

    3. Frank was a beast today! (I still think his TT is too big a weakness)

    4. Evans looked really good/strong/smooth today. very impressed.

I'm also surprised/impressed by Evans' team so far.

I think they're low at the moment too, Nadal drained them after Novak slapped him around
