Where's the Roebuck? I'm assuming somewhere near Richmond Park?

Okay, it sounds like it's a shoo in for the Roebuck.

    Next question is which date.

Currently 8 votes for the 30th and 7 for the 6th.

But 5 people CANNOT do the 30th,
and 4 people CANNOT do the 6th.

    So I don't know...

    Yes.

Careful though, pick the wrong Roebuck and you'll end up in a very dark place

    Looks like 8 people could do 30, 8 the 6th, 7 the 13th.

    Need a few more numbers.

How do you edit a poll, anybody?

Just a thought, while around RP is good idea, would we not be better with somewhere with a beer garden?

http://www.thealbertkingston.co.uk/ has nice outside area, maybe we could reserve it.

    or

Personally I'd prefer somewhere as central as possible.... Not to throw a spanner in the works but Richmond Park is a right royal @rse to get to from where I live, however I'll go with whatever everyone else wants...

Outside The Roebuck is a very large space with lots of benches and a stunning view. Also very long railings that bikes can be locked to. Much better for people with bikes than The Albert.
Being purely selfish it suits me as weekend time is rarely my own and it's close to home.

The Roebuck has that view as long as the weather is good, it's lovely to sit/stand out there,

it's also has the park two mins if that, bikes are really quite secure, and it has a steep hill so when folk get dumb/drunk they can ride up it....

If it's the 30th I'll be late and probably tired!

So if it's going to be the 30th, someone needs to make a decision soon...!

OK, 30th at The Roebuck. Done.

I say this entirely for selfish reasons. I still need to negotiate a pass from the EPO, it'll probably help if I fix the khazi first.

30th at the Roebuck seems to be the most popular combination.

Looks like last years format was 1pm for ride round the park with 3pm for beers. Same again?

OK.... Although 30th for me is the most difficult date, but I'll try!

I probably won't do the lappery but should make it for a drink. I'm just thinking about how to strap my unicycle to the mountain bike for total beer addled stupidity.

I'll raise a glass of Chianti on the 13th, but will be in Tuscany. Sorry, I have to keep mentioning it as I'm rather excited.

My newly acquired fun prevention officer seems to have me doing things on both the 30th and the 13th. Can't complain about the 13th though, as its a joint birthday party.

Gotta say, the 30th is looking increasingly unlikely for me too.... Who are all these people who voted for it? I'm free any weekend in August...

Rats. Can't have too many beers. Have to deliver my daughter to a party in Walton at 5:30. Pesky kids and their social lives.

Seems last year was 1pm for laps and 3pm for beers. I'm thinking of maybe a ride out to Box Hill (3 hills) late morning and getting to the park for 1pm. Need to get a longer ride in to try and keep the stats semi-respectible for the month - starting to fall behind into no-mans land. Any takers?

    Maybe.

I may have to pick up the bike on Saturday morning which may not give me enough time, I know tomorrow. Plus I need to get used to riding on the drop so RP maybe better.
