    Damn! If the peloton had just got Gilbert 15 seconds closer he would have won his second stage. Watching Gesink in trouble today just makes me even more depressed about Wiggins' abandonment.

    It's still early in the race.

    I hope Cadel takes it this year, but there's still a long way to go and not too much showing of hands yet amongst the GC contenders.
