Heres my newly built up Lynskey Ridgeline ltitanium hardtail. i know ive had a few bikes this year as i have chopped and changed trying to find my ideal bike. ive love all my previous bikes and enjoyed owning them but i always end up back on a ti hardtail and with the lynskey i think ive found the perfect bike for me and i promise i will only get rid if i break it or lose it. after coming straight from the banshee which i thought was quite compliant for an alu ht i was astounded by the difference, it felt like i had an inch or two of suspension at the rear and the harder i ride the comfier it gets. it also seems to like the 140mm fork, i may the forks in 150mm mode though. position wise, with the seat up it climbs and rips through single track with ease, with the seat down its a very competent dh'er and i find it no trouble to keep with 5inch travel trail bikes. weight wise it comes in at bang on 26lbs which is great considering the dh capable brakes and wheels and the long alu bar. i could go a lot lighter but i feel so confident on the bike knowing its strong and i can stop easily. once i wear the ust nobby nics out i will swap for a pair of the tubeless ready version which will save half a pound. hers the spec in full

Good lord, that's a lot of 'bling' and I'm afraid I don't mean that in a good way!

Could look great with some toned down parts :-)

yes the saint brakes are amazing, the phenomenal performance makes up for any weight penalty. switch hubs are awesome for the money, but ive already got some bearing noise in the rear hub, not good after only ten or so rides on them but they should be cheap and easy to replace, i,ll probably pop some ceramics in there

DUDE!! lots of good stuff on there, but you sure have over done this one- stick to two colours PLUS one neutral (say black) and you are there. Why do you switch between frames this often? I would not even have enough time to try them all out. Burn that riser or at least melt it/turn into chainring bolts or something ;)

but if i tone it down it will be boring and un-pastey like and like every other classy/subtle ti bike out there. i would anodise my knob if it was at all possible, with future advances in science, would it it be outside the realms of possibility to colour co-ordinate body parts to our bikes ? as for the bars, i love them, i do have a set of black carbon easton monkey bars i could use but the extra width of the answers has been an eyeopener plus the pro tapers hvave the best bend/sweep of any riser ive ever used, they just feel right. if i go on a weight loss binge i may consider the carbon version. finally i switch because i like to try different bikes out, every now and again i come across a bike i stick to, but funnily the top 5 bikes ive owned the longest have all been ti hardtails

Dumb is the person who think s that 4 pictures of owls on Flickr means something.
Actually, no that's not dumb, that's retarded, with a side salad of serious mental issues.

    Yeah, but only for commuting.
(cough, and besides the rest of the bike is all black and green anyway  )

so you deny being found face down on the marin trail, naked with a mouthful of owl feathers. you really are a sick boy. you are the owl whisperer, shunned by humans you live among the owls with a laptop as your only connection to the human world. you try to gain revenge on the human population by picking fights on forums such as this, but a man who cannot distinguish between xtr and slx has no right voicing opinions here. if your eyes are really that bad we should rename you yeehaaMagoo. i bet all the owls laugh at your pathetic eyesight.

heres yeehaaMagoo with his latest bird. her name is tawnyetta ,shes only 14 but yeehaaMagoo struggles with owls his own age as they are not as impressed with his lurid green tyres and forum bullying prowess. they are off for a delightful ride to Caerphilly where yeehaaMagoo and tawnyette will engage in some cheese tasting and maybe a romantic picnic.

Someones taking something to heart a bit too much.

I do agree though, the bling-ness kills it for me but hey everyone has their individual tastes or this world would be one hell of a boring place fair play to ya. ;)

i didnt think it was possible for you to make a nice bike, but that titus looks ace!! all the mtbs are pretty gash though, the only clours that should go on a ti frame are white and gunmetal. the end

Mix feeling, some OTT but full respect to you. I'm sure it takes alot of time and effort to come up with an extreme colour scheme for your bikes. I do like how you use the I-links colours.
