I can take a joke honest hahaha. Just don't understand why people are having a dig at the bike when it's the mbr review people have a problem with. As I said the bike will work for some people others it won't. I think the simplicity of it works. Anyway I will leave you guys to continue the debate lol0

We're not having a go at the bike, we're having a go at the review. That's the whole point of the thread.
So don;t worry, we're not dissing your whimsical, magical toy.0 -
They are actually pretty good had a test ride last year on a 18 inch 5 with Fox 36 forks and a Marzochi coil shock felt like I could have rode over pretty much anything. Wouldnt pay the asking price but wouldnt mind having one.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

Oh, I wouldn't mind if someone gave me one ;-). It would get ridden in the same way as my Mongoose, over shorter, harder stuff. But I paid 400 quid for the Goose lol.0

Ibis Mojo reminds me of the Kirk Revolution, and that's not a good thing.
Orange 5 is even uglier imo.Guinness for strength0 -
While the magazine is obviously aimed at the more affluent reader who likes riding trails and AM, thier narrow minded an blinkered views are ruining their credibilty. Why the insistance that all riders must have/like 711mm bars? Sorry MBR but you don't no my preferences and marking stuff down for swaying from this is absurd. Similarly their views that we all must have 140mm plus full sussers with slack geometry. Very one dimensional.
.
MBR has had an agenda like this for years. It's almost fascist in its wide bars-short-stem-super relaxed geometry etc. etc. fanatical ideology. As in: you can't really me a real mountain biker unless you ride THIS KIT in THIS WAY.
I remember once, years ago, they printed a review which stated something likes "mountain biking has more in common with moto x than any form of cycling." ludicrous.0 -
Me too, SS, I only paid £480 for my Mongoose, which was probably my best ever bike buy...that and getting the Claud Butler Cape Wrath 03 brand new for £320 back in the day.0
