Looks like he's getting an entire season's riding out of his system in one go.0

He's got a very greasy looking hand. Has he been eating a burger?0 -

So far this year before the Giro he has raced:
Volta ao Algarve
where he came 2nd on Stage 3 (summit) and came 4th in the overall.
Vuelta a la Region de Murcia
where he won stage 2 (summit), won stage 3 (ITT) and took the GC overall
Volta a Catalunya
where he won stage 3 (summit) and took the GC overall
Vuelta a Castilla y Leon
where he won stage 4 (ITT)
Flèche Wallonne
where he came 11th

And then it all gets taken away from him around June 8th...0

Maybe it will maybe it wont. Either way he still won them and the other riders know it.

Jeez just sat through amateur level women's tennis waiting in vain for the scheduled highlights at 9.50! Eurosport seem to be getting worse at cancelling, I can understand when live sport over-runs bit "highlights" of Elena Baltacha against some unknown Yank!0

Not sure what stage this is from but it is not a good look

I don't know who thought an uphill time trial makes a spectator sport but that was dire viewing.
Best moments of the Giro so far have to be NIbali's two descents on the Queen stage - especially bunny hopping that crack in the road.
it's a hard life if you don't weaken.0 -
Frenchfighter - what's the issue with black shoes?
Cavendish was mentioning on his twitter not too long ago that he was getting disparaging comments about his black shoes.0 -

Speak for yourself.
To be there in person it is possibly the best.
An extended period of time of riders coming through, mostly very slowly, making a lot of effort. Instead of coming through at 50km/h as a whole.....Contador is the Greatest0 -

Yeah he changed over some sweet white ones to some awful black ones. Total lack of style. Ever seen Boonen with shoes other than white?
Check this out - the style clash is obvious.

You're looking at his shoes? :?0 -
It was a great and important victory for Alberto and for the team," said Saxo Bank-SunGard boss Bjarne Riis. "He started out without pushing too hard on the first part of the course. We knew that the stage would be won on the final six kilometers of the stage and here, he was in a league of his own. Now, we have to stay focused on the job. The race is not over before we cross the finish line Sunday but this was surely an important step in the direction towards a great overall result."
Vincenzo Nibali said, "I did my best but Contador's got an extra gear. I honestly thought I'd done enough to win it but all I can say to him is chapeau."
"I rode well and felt good. I used the right gear and the right equipment. But when someone is that good, there's not much you can do. I tried to gain a few seconds on the first part, on the descent, and then I paced myself well and kept trying to accelerate again and again. I don't think I could have done any better."
"Alberto is unbeatable for the moment, but I just hope that with some hard work there's a chance that I can close the gap on him in the future."
And according to Michele Scarponi: "I gave it everything in the time trial but I wasn't at my best. I didn't have the legs in the final two kilometres, when I needed to pick up the speed and go hard. But I have to be satisfied with my Giro so far and second place overall. I know Nibali wants to take it from me, but I also know that final mountain stage to Sestriere suits me."Contador is the Greatest0 -
