Did you run out of red ink before the 2010 list...?Head Hands Heart Lungs Legs0

You've missed out the DOPER next to number 4 on the 2008 list FF........and next to number 8 in 2010.0
-
You seem to have neglected Vino, Basso, Garzo, Scarponi, Simoni, Contador and Menchov..."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

And Sella's teammate Pozzovivo, how lucky was he not to get caught in 2008! Now he looks like he is just happy to be riding 20mins down every day.0

Yes, I predict he will ride solo from the gun and win today!"I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

I think he'll finish solo with no one else in sight too. Actually, I think the race will be so hard it will be completely fragmented and practically everyone will finish aloneFckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -

I reckon he'll be the last to finish.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Reckon frenchie is getting the hang of this doping lark.
Italians = Bad/evil dopers
Spanish/RotW = Good/honourable dopers.
Excellent wind up, btw.
I don't think there will be time for Contador to do his usual, change bike before a big climb, routine today."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
The intermediate time check today is cleverly placed to provide useless information I think - after the opening descent and the easier bit of the climb, but just before the actual climb starts.
FF's dopers list is actually a pretty good illustration of what results of GT nowadays look like 1 year and 3 years after the race.0 -
Solo TTs are boring - think I'll find some wet paint to watch dry0

nooo i love hill climbs, Ive done a few hill climbs and they hurt even when going well, its the same for the pros, theyre gonna hurt themselves (but go a bit quicker). In that respect i can appreciate what theyre doing.
Im looking forward to it and if i were there id be chearing every one of them on.. Brilliant race again this year.0 -

Fixed that for you, you seemed to have accidently overlooked a doper in the 2008 results.0 -
Not sure that the 2010 list looks very clean. Basso, Scarponi, Vino :?0

I think the forum would be a duller place without you, you do make me laugh often. You're like a barometer of how well Bertie is going in races and the PR battle over doping. 20 years ago I used to feel like that over a football team, good on ya.0 -
FF is one of the key components of this place.
I always await his avatar change with baited breath!0 -

Amazing what happens when you ride clean or cleaner, Pozzovivo, Sella, Di Luca!0 -
Will Bert have had one of those special rest day steaks the other evening?0

To be fair, Sella is going ok.
Di Luca is whacked - Navarro has nearly the same time on GC.Contador is the Greatest0 -

I loved the Pinotti quote about him in pro-cycling
"You can’t say what he said. I don’t know what he told the investigators – he must have said something if they reduced his ban – but compare Di Luca and Tom Zirbel. Zirbel was banned for two years by USADA having tested positive for DHEA. He didn’t know how it got into his body and he definitely didn’t take it intentionally. Nonetheless, he admitted that what enters an athlete’s body was his responsibility and he wasn’t able to prove that it was contamination, perhaps because he didn’t have the money and the lawyers. Anyway, he couldn’t prove it and he got banned for two years. There was another case - Zirbel heard about it - of an athlete who did manage to prove that he’d taken a contaminated supplement and the company got sued – but the athlete still only got a three-month reduction to his ban. Then along comes Di Luca, who’s already been charged twice - once for consulting a doctor who’s banned from cycling for life and now for this. Di Luca tests positive, admits he did it and then he provides the investigators with information, which he can do because he’s an expert in the field, and they give him a nine-month reduction. Then what? He throws his hands up in the air and says, “I didn’t name any names. I didn’t spit in the soup. I just explained my doping methods.” So as an expert in the field, he’s told the investigators how you go about doping. At this point Zirbel says, “Ah, it’s a shame that I’m not an expert in doping. I should have pretended to be one then I’d be able to start racing again next year. Because I’m an idiot, though, and I let this substance get into my system without knowing how, I’ve got two years and I’m stuck with it.”"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Garzelli did leave the Giro under a cloud in the early 2000s. Can't remember which year, perhaps 2002.
Anyway, after yesterday's effort I can't see him winning today's stage – I hope!0 -
Can anyone point me in the direction of start times for todays stage?0

No need to rush unless you have Rai etc.. The Ladies match has gone an extra set0 -
Being an uphill TT i wonder if anyone will have trouble with the time limit. Im guessing that it being after a rest day and not being as bad as the Plan de Corones will make it a bit easier on those low down on GC.0
