i value the health benefits of diet coke more than i value being caffeine free so i continue to swill it down at the rate of litres a day. it's not the lack of calories but the opportunity to fill a hungry stomach with gas and zero energy liquid, an invaluable weight management tactic.0

Gram for gram, caffeine is far more dangerous than alcohol. 2g of caffeine can be enough to cause acute overdose, potentially leading to death. 4g of caffeine will definitely kill you whereas a 50ml double measure of whisky contains about 15g of alcohol and is quite enjoyable.CAPTAIN BUCKFAST'S CYCLING TIPS - GUARANTEED TO WORK! 1 OUT OF 10 RACING CYCLISTS AGREE!0

I always had trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep until i gave up caffeine. More and sleep equals better recovery and more energy. Do it, it was well worth the week of headaches i got getting the stuff out of my system.0

I drink illy decaf made in a stove-top espresso maker. It's absolutely lovely, and better than most of the muck that comes out of espresso machines on the high street. Finding a good decaf filter coffee is a lot harder, and probably not worth the effort. I just drink tea instead.Giant TCR Advanced II - Reviewed on my homepage
