Blackpool to Warton, 2 or 3 days per week at most, round about 14 miles each way depending on which route I take - average speed around 18-19mph and takes around 35 mins on a Boardman Hybrid Comp.
Recently changed the cassette for one with smaller teeth in the hope it'll make me a little faster but not sure how much difference it's making yet, also just converted to spd's and getting used to those too :?
Is there anyone else in the Blackpool area on here at the moment too?0 -
Guiseley to Leeds
11.7m, 42 mins av (whilst avoiding loony drivers). Predominantly downhill
Leeds to Guiseley
11.34m, 50 mins, uphill more than half the way.
Nice to wizz passed static vehicles on the way in:)
Probably quicker than driving in too!!:)0 -
Croydon to City
12.2 miles (Google Maps)
50 mins or so
(was 1 hr on the MTB)
Lots of traffic lights, although I get some decent runs. Lots of other cyclists, more the closer you get to Central London, which slow things down slightly but OTOH it's nice to have other people doing the same thing.0 -

Right, the weather has improved so my commute is now 23 miles in - about an hour and a quarter and then either 10, 13 or 16 back depending on what's happening that evening and how strong the headwind is. Four days last week, going to target five days and doing 23 each way on some days when it gets properly nice weather-wise.0

What do you think? should we make more films? or spend more time in the office we were riding to?
