Is this on eurosport at all?

I notice some 30 minute cycling programs with no details in the schedule this week

ufff, Sastre and Menchov both in the grupetto coming in at over 13 minutes. It's not really a good start for Geox this year yet, is it?

    Good on him for surviving.

This race doesn't have a TT which is a shame and doesn't have many mountains. All rides on stage 3 which is a monster mountain stage ending with an HC summit finish.

Some heavweights amoung the team leaders sent in for this one: Di Luca, Contador, Tondo, Basso, Evans, Anton, Roche, Velits, Scarponi, Taaramae, Sastre, Menchov, Leipheimer, Vandevelde, Uran, Gerdemann.

Btw don't want to start a seperate thread but Voeckler wins again! 3km solo attack to hold off the peloton in Cholet Pay de Loire.

:?: huh? It's packed with climbs every day. OK, not all of them mountains, but it is a week stage race in March. Stage 3 goes to 1900 meter and stage 5 looks tasty

Yes you're right, I'm wrong, it is a lot more bumpy than I thought. Just looked at the profiles and they do look good on paper. That being said, Contador said:
Nor can you say that the route of the 2011 Volta is ideal for you.

Agreed, it’s not exactly perfect either. It doesn’t have an individual time trial so that I could gap certain rivals. There’s a summit finish, but it’s on day three and without huge slopes of the kind that establish differences easily. And then there are still four days left that will demand a lot of teamwork in order to control the race. I still have to study the route, but it seems to me that there aren’t great chances to attack in the final days, either. La Volta will probably be played out in the finale of the third day, in Andorra.

HTC are having a pretty good season! Uran has also had a few good rides so far.

FF how do you rate Gerdemann - he seams to be having a reasonable start to the year
honestly how far do you think he can go?

He wasn't in the 'some' from my quote. I think he is a decent rider, above average but wont do anything special imo. I'm not sure why more of these quality riders who can't quite be on the top GC level don't go for stage wins or KoM jerseys - people would remember them a lot more. Like Linus, he is remembered for that great stage win.

Contador wins. Lol, shame you guys cannot get behind this champion. Relatively out of shape compared to Evans, Scarponi, Basso et al. with little race feel in his legs and he takes the win.

2 mountain stages, 1 ITT, 1 overall. Notching them up.

Sagan and Martin have 4 wins.

    Goss, sprinter, has 4.

    Voeckler has 5.

    Guardini, sprinter, has 6.

    Too much talent.
