Minor changes further down the table, but it's pretty much status quo after Amstel Gold.

Richrd2205 extends his overall lead after Romandie. Now out to 71 points
Although with more points on offer now that we're into grand tour season, there's still a chance for some people to cut the lead down.

Well, it's kind of surprising, but the top 6 hasn't changed after the Giro! Richrd2205 still leads, although his lead has been cut slightly. 71 points before the Giro, 58 points after.
Cumulonimbus, top scorer in the Giro, jumps from 17th to 10th.

My PTP season is like Scarponi/Nibali's Giros - screwed right from the start. I got off to a shocker - 23 points from the first 5 races. Richard had nearly 200.
I've going to try to be a stage hunter from know on...0 -
Richrd2205 still leads after the Dauphiné, although Art Vandelay just hops above rozzer32 into 2nd place.

Tour de Suisse done, Richrd2205 still in pole position, although Art Vandelay has slashed his lead by 20 points. Just 34 points in it now. On to the Tour de France - more points for the GC, more points for stage placings, it's still all to play for.

Pretty good Clasica San Sebastian for rozzer32. He jumps from 4th to 2nd place, leapfrogging Snorebens and Art Vandelay, and is now just 7 points behing long-time leader Richrd2205.

I don't know when I'll have access to the internet so could I have Greipel for the Vatenfall, J-Rod for the Vuelta GC, HTC for stage 1, then Cav Cav J-Rod Cav for the following stages please?0

Duly noted, TTHR.
Not much happened in the Eneco Tour, apart from Richrd2205 extending his lead by two points.
Getting towards the end of the season now. In terms of stage-races, there's just the Vuelta left... but with 6 one dayers (300 points!) to go, there's still a lot that could happen.

Pleased with that. I find the second half of the season harder as it's harder to predict who is in good shape and who is likely to be the protected riders."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0

Hamburg has had a big effect on the race for the title. Richrd2205 had the winner... rozzer32 was out of the placings. Result being, the lead is now out to 71 points. A hefty margin with the races running out quickly.

Been a busy weekend, what with the two Canadian races and the end of the Vuelta, but look, we have a new leader! Richrd2205 gives up a hefty lead of 71 points and now trails rozzer32 by 12 points. How things change.
Just 4 races to go now. Two in the Worlds, then Paris-Tours and Lombardy. Anyone in the top 14 could still theoretically win.

To quote Bradley Wiggins at the Vuelta:
"How do you play it? Conserve 3rd or throw everything at winning at the risk of losing all? stupid or brave? What would you do?"

Has the PTP calendar changed? There are six races on the first page of this thread.Snorebens wrote:To quote Bradley Wiggins at the Vuelta:

You have 40 points on 4th, so obviously you should gamble. Think of the spectators etc. I have no bias at all.0 -
