so red bull are now sponsered by infinity
hands up if you have heard of infinity, just me then?
handily infinity arent rebranding the renault engines as alot of people said, instead they are just a title sponsor, which is good for both parties.
doesnt seem to have been much else in the world of f1 over the last couple of days, but the second barcelona test, replacing the cancelled bahrain test is coming up soon, so should be interesting as a final pre season benchmark.
oh 1 side note, theres a chance we might see the bahrain gp slotted into the summer break in august, big who cares there, or if not, the bernie was talking of making bahrain and abu dhabi a double header at the end of the season.0 -
so were in the final weeks build up, have you registered your team? the cut off time will be when the final practice starts on friday! so get picking!
here's a reasonably good article from box head.

bbc sport has had some interesting articles on the season build up, looks fairly promising
pirellis are experiencing very high wear so the expectation is either 3 or 4 stops per race should be goood
oh, and pre season form suggests red bull and ferrari are fast over short and long runs. williams looking like the surprise of the year, along with sauber, if testing is to be believed
woooo happy times only waiting till friday0 -
Well Practice and qualifying has been and gone so no more changes, but whats funny is the people on fixed race stratergy and not swapping out Kubica!
just posted in the comments section0 -
haha wow thats impressive levels of intelligence right there
they must be deaf as well, because every practise session kubicas been mentioned
ahwell, most importantly sebs on pole, and what a flier of a lap
mclaren have definately taken a big step forwards with their latest upgrades and ditching their forward exit exhaust. ferrari are taking leaps and bounds towards the midfield, or atleast massa is
shame about lotus (the green one, not the lotus renault) they were looking good in testing but still a long way off.0 -
Yet again it looks to be a good season, it will be better still if the mclaren boys can close the gap on redbull! Vettel's pole lap was awesome and is showing poor webber the way!0
-
This sucking fucks!
Barrichello looked in great shape all through practice then goes and does something completely out of character at just the wrong time.
Schumi again looked good in practice but again falls massively behind his team mate when it matters.
Heidfeld... well there BETTER have been something seriously wrong with the setup, otherwise theres absolutely no excuse for that dogshit performance when the likes of Petrov is up in 6th. >:/
Webber will always be up there, but for Vettel to be so far ahead... did anyone else notice Mark having a good look at Seb's car when they went in to get weighed? Maybe another case of Vettel getting an upgrade before him?
Oh well, hopefully experience will win the day (I must have the oldest team going...) with these tyres making strategy and driving knowledge so important.0 -

5th after week one.... I can live with that!I like bikes and stuff0

So its race weekend (in two senses) this weekend, i really enjoy the unpredictability of this track, so it could go eitherway? I will be at a race (mtb) and be trying to avoid hearing the results, then getting home to watch the recorded show in HD ignoring family children etc. I really hope that the Mclaren boys and Ferrari close down the upstarts Redbull0
-
Ahh bugger! Forgot all about this and hadn't changed kubica out Never mind, life goes on.
Gutted I have to miss the race this weekend, stuck on a fucking 26 hour coach journey.0 -

projectsome
Nicely done! I had 4 in top 8, I'll put the standings up later0 -
was a pretty good race must say. the combination of KERS, DRS and Pirellis made for an exciting morning. webbers fightback was pretty impressive, and a good result for heikki in the lotus.0
-
It certainly does what it's supposed to do, first time they've made changes to get more overtaking and it's actually worked!0

Would have been higher if William's and Mercedes could get their bloody acts together. >:/
Still, at least i'm not regretting giving Heidfeld a chance anymore.0 -

Woowoo, ditched webber and massa before this race for vettel and hamilton. Would prefer button as prefer him to hamilton but in my head know that i'd say 90% of the time hamilton will always be marginally quicker (annoyingly). And parking in the wrong pits.... doh....http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7231/6933696372_603c9ce220_b.jpg
