Not many pics as yet, only got it today, waiting for white bars, superstar pedals and grips to come.
Had a great ride today at my local woods, much better than my pinnacle, forks were smooth, brakes fantastic, gearing pretty smooth as well
Overall very happy with my buy, apparently there are only a few left of them for sale in the country, great service by halfords aswell surprisingly

This is it in front of the woods pond, which was iced over to 6 inch thick :shock:


This is a bit closer, shows that it is actually pretty muddy, honest

i will not be upgrading it yet maybe in a month or 2 but the first things i will be upgrading on is the seat,pedals and possibly the grips

they really are anyway I took some more pics today after a nightride (freezing) and how muddy it is Gonna give it a clean in about an hour though

Nice looker and these are a good price too. I have a freind who was considering one but was put off by the weight on the website (it says 14.75Kg!!) Is this correct or a typo?

tbf when i was looking at my bikes the weight put me off one of these ones ( i work at a halfords) so im always sneaking over to bikehut to piss about looking at bikes..) but im also a nerd for specialized.

yeah it does weigh a bit, I think that's mainly in the wheels though :S I'm not that bothered about weight though I just wanna get out and have fun on it which so far I have done

New pedals came today, god knows where the grips are, ordered them last wednesday from superstar :S

very nice, they're very grippy and mine are the thru pin models with less pjns but they're easier to replace. I'm starting to wish I went fro those though, with more pins.

Cool, yeah they look nice,just can't get them on, well to be more precise my other one off got one of them off, the other just didn't budge a little bit I was turning it the right way yes and using the right sized spanner this is horrible.

lol, just remember to apply some grease to the threads on the new pedlas when installing. It'll help stop teh annolying problem you're currently suffering.

Sweet just got my old pedals off and put the new ones on. I sprayed wd40 on my old ones overnight, and today bam it shifted
I will take a better picture tomorrow drayk, my garage is pretty narrow so can't get one from the side. Well here's some with the pedals on

Fearnsy they're schwalbe smart sams, i wanted a tyre that didnt drag on tarmac, the kenda ones it comes with feel like im pedaling in sand when im on the road!

Theyre 2.1 the same size as the kendas it comes with.

Ah cheers, and need some new tires too they are seriously slow :shock: and yeah red and white me thinks, haven't spent that much yet, £320 on saturday, then £43 on pedals, £10 grips, £13 bars, but they look the shiz need a qr seatclamp in red and i've already got a seat with a smidge of red on will be more comfortable than what's already on it anyway.

Haha! My tyres are like that because schwalbe seem to be putting silver line reflective strips on most of their tyres now! I didnt know that when i ordered them, i think it looks good!

Haha I thought it was white wiring like you can get on nobby nics. oh well looks nice and cheers trying to think of what else to get besides tyres, ideas anyone?
