Here's my list in no particular order;
1) Dog poo
2) Empty drinks bottles/food wrapers left out on the trail
3) Discarded inner tubes (and even tyres!)
4) Riders who think they have the god given right to barge their way past slower ridersCraig Rogers0 -

Don't know if you do this, but when I wash the bike, which is about as often as you've stated above!
I cover the entire bike (except the brakes!) in MucOff Bike Spray. The dirt doesn't stick and indeed does slide off.Craig Rogers0 -

trail centres full stop. Just no fun . When i started 16 years ago MTBing was just riding where ever you wanted not led like sheep about a ring with a bunch of no fun yuppies with their 2K off the peg bike and not realising they could build a really special one off bike for that much. where most of the climbs are fire road . where most of the riders have no idea who Kirk industries were (my brother had one the magnesium started to fizzle on him in a rainy ride(?) or that Nolan made awesome parallel linkage forks.
heck I'm 29 but sound like a 40 year old .......... i even like the cure and the smiths.......am i old before my time. .......
I also hat the fact that most modern parts are way more expensive than 10 years ago but seem to be really badly made or not feel as well engineered (new zocchi forks for example and even the new hope brakes, and don't get me started on commencial cable routing for front mechs....)
Not being able to find a big enough soap box to fall from while in internet forums.0 -

You talk about products not being as nicely made as they once were, yet you talk about two of the worst products ever designed0 -
Bearings constantly getting mud in them - bb, jockey wheels, hubs, shifters, headset - it's neverending maintenance all bloody winter!

Another thing is people that stop in the middle of the trail to fix the puncture.
The bike is upside down, wheel off and then somebody fly's round the corner. You get the picture.
