Muck off dry lube or white lightning wax lube. as they don't get to mucky but keep it smooooooth.
Or just jizz sometimes ....0 -
Finish line wet at the minute, until the bottle is empty then I may try something else....0

White Lightning Epic or Wet Ride, although I keep meaning to get some more Squirt, as that was very good.0

I used the epic for winter last year, wasn't bad at all.
But local shop has stopped doing it, and can't be arsed to do an internet order for 1 bottle of lube0 -
Tried something new called Nutlube - I can see where it got it's name from. Totally destroyed my chain, cogs, 1000 acres of trees and Bambi's mother.
Avoid at all costs. It should be called Chernobyl.I don't do smileys.

SAE 80 or 90 gear oil, as recommended by both Honda and Regina for non O-ring motorbike chains I believe. And at £7.40 per litre, a little cheaper than say Finish Line Cross Country which works out to nearly £60 per litre!!!"Coming through..."0

Halfords teflon stuff, but seems to be different from that of old - is thick and gluey now.0
-
TF2 in the dry (seems to last longer than GT85) and Rocol Chain & Drive in the wet. The Rocol stuff is very, very similar to the OEM lube that comes on a chain and seriously stays put, even in godawful conditions. Not cheap, but really good stuff....0

Tried a fair few - didn't like Squirt although others rave about it.
Rock n Roll Extreme was very good. Currently using Progold Prolink and that's the best so far - it's lasted well in wet and very muddy conditions recently.0 -
Squirt does the trick for me. I also like White Lightening Epic.
Don't like Finish Line Wet, just too dirty for my liking.0 -
WD40 after a wash to get rid of the water and prevent rust.
A bit of Wilko's 3 in 1 oil (59p) on the chain after the WD40.0 -

nutlube, btw the rview thing shoudl be sent out witin a couple of days0

White Lightning clean ride. 8)
Used to use finishline wet, but got sick of cleaning my chainset. good stuff but messy.0 -
Finish line teflon spray, good stuff. Really good on fork seals as well. We'll see things they'll never see...

I'd be careful with sprays on some fork seals, the solvents can damage seals and thin the oil in the foam rings.0

im enjoying nutlube, before that i was a big fan of epic white lightening. nutlube seems to perform pretty much exactly the same. which is a good ting.0

Epic White Lightening for the summer
Purple Extreme for the winter
Why? Because last year when I asked a similar question they were the ones everyone recommend, although a week later someone else asked the same question and got a load of different answers! :?
Both do work really well though.Trek Top Fuel 9 2010, Stumpy Pro 2009 ,Giant XTC3 2009, Qu-ax Penny Farthing,

Pedros Wet Lube for me at the moment...it does the job, plus it's got a green colouring so easy to see where you have/haven't lubed.Santa Cruz Chameleon

i'm giving this a whirl currently and i'm really not sure about it at all. not sure about re-application method either0 -
Purple Extreme all year round. It just works very well and washes off easily with standard bike wash.0

Stihl BioPlus bio-degradeable chainsaw oil. been using it for a few years now and it works for me. Unfortunately you cant buy it in anything less than a 5 litre can from a chainsaw specialist. Luckily I know a fella who uses chainsaws for a living and he gave me a half litre bottle and I still have a bit left after 3 years. I have been told its the same stuff Green Oil sells in little bottles for lots of money.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

i using that at the moment but tbh im getting sick of wet lube and the 2 stone of gunk that it collects
yes im using it sparingly
i basically just show the chain the botle now and still get the same results, gonna go dry at the wettest time of the year :?0
