    Rowe just needs to sit in now and save energy, they jump with a couple of km to go, having someone off the front might actually suit Cav as well

    Not sure how long to go but Bauer must have a real chance here. Somebody has to go from that chase group....maybe Millar if he has the legs?

    Cav looks really motivated for this, got himself back into the group. Will he be able to Mark the attacks and still win a sprint now though?

    Well yes, but a silver or bronze on the medal table for IoM looks quite good too. What I mean is that riders may look like they're doing work which may bring Cavendish back into the race, it means that if Cav can still sprint (i.e. he's not too knackered) and takes gold, then at least they're in with a shout of a medal.

    Where as in normal races they'd probably just sit up rather than tow Cav to the line.
