Well Velits...continues to surprise me. I really would like to know why he is going so well. I keep thinking it is because he is allowed to ride for himself and has good ability anyway. I will check his palmares as I am not overly familiar with them.Contador is the Greatest0

J-Rod looks really uncomfortable on a TT bike. I didn't realize they made them in children's sizes.0
-
If they are going to have a TT - I much prefer to have it with a few days of racing left afterwards so some of these riders will be more inclined to attack in the coming days.0
-
Nibs leads Zeke by 38s going into the final stages. Fireworks ordered for Saturday PM.0

Mosquera, really good TT from him... he may just pull it off on Saturday!!0
-
Was hoping for a shorter TT so Mosquera could post a 25:17Le Blaireau (1)0

Wow, Roche is going to be pissed.
That climb looks absolutely nuts - 22km at 6% with grades up to 20%
Rodrigues said he had three goals - to win a stage, wear the red jersey and take the GC. He said he was happy having done two of those. He may well take the win on BolaContador is the Greatest0 -

His best year to date looks like 2009:
4th San Sebastien
31st TdF overall
12th Tour Suisse overall
10th Milan Sanremo
7th Eroica0 -
From a Spanish forum.
If you want to see how really awful the Bola part of the climb is, scroll down past the pictures of the Navacerrada and prepare to be amazed, if not shocked:

How did Nibali get a bottle back after his wheel change, I wonder? The footage clearly showed one of the staff take it off the first bike & put it on the spare thinking he was doing a bike change, but later in the ride he had a bidon in his cage again. The team car can't hand one up by the rules, and there was no designated feed zone as far as I can see. Would a motorbike commissaire hand one on to him, perhaps?0

Someone obviously gave him a bottle.0

Thanks a lot for this. It really is quite something, not your typical mountain pass at all. Certainly pretty ugly, it should make for a good spectacle. Certainly a unique climb...Contador is the Greatest0 -
